June 22nd, 2008 | No Comments » | By Steve Brenner

Five of Pentacles of the Tarot Card Deck5 of Pentacles of the Tarot Deck – Minor Arcana – Two beggars walk through the snow passing by a window full of light and warmth.

Upright: The coming of material trouble, financial problems, perhaps the loss of job. Another interpretation, you may need to seek the support of family and friends to get through some hard times, you only need to ask. These two alternative meanings may be harmonized or coordinated. As with any difficult times it may strengthen your character and the relationships of those who stood by you.

Reversed: You have just come out of your hard times. There is friction with those who should be helping you. Or you are being reckless only to feed the hardships of your current situation.

2 of Pentacles – Head Above Water

Two of Pentacles of the Tarot Card DeckTwo of Pentacles of the Tarot Deck – Minor Arcana – A young man jungles and dances like in a circus act although his face is serious. The two pentacles being juggled are connected by an endless rope in the shape of infinity. There are two ships riding large waves perhaps struggling against the weather or currents.

Upright: This Tarot card could be of fun, cheerfulness, and recreation. On a more serious note it can be a show of multitasking or of juggling your time, money, and efforts (your resources) between jobs or responsibilities. You are learning where your resources should be concentrated for the best returns. What investments? Which job? The two of pentacles could also represent an obstacle in the form of written news although I do not know/see the symbology for this.

Reversed: The fun or cheerfulness is forced. Having trouble juggling those resources.
