2 of Pentacles – Head Above Water
Two of Pentacles of the Tarot Deck – Minor Arcana – A young man jungles and dances like in a circus act although his face is serious. The two pentacles being juggled are connected by an endless rope in the shape of infinity. There are two ships riding large waves perhaps struggling against the weather or currents.
Upright: This Tarot card could be of fun, cheerfulness, and recreation. On a more serious note it can be a show of multitasking or of juggling your time, money, and efforts (your resources) between jobs or responsibilities. You are learning where your resources should be concentrated for the best returns. What investments? Which job? The two of pentacles could also represent an obstacle in the form of written news although I do not know/see the symbology for this.
Reversed: The fun or cheerfulness is forced. Having trouble juggling those resources.

Hi,
Thank you for posting such detailed card-meanings online! It was very helpful when I was learning how to read Tarot.
My only question is, are there official “names” for the minor arcana? I was also on wikipedia, and they listed titles for each card in the suit of swords: The Reaver, The Choice, The Wound, The Effigy, The Traitor, etc. I was wondering if any other suits had these? The same patterns hadn’t been included on the other related pages, which made me curious.
If you DO know the names, could you please contact me with them? I believe my email is posted above. I’m trying to unprofessionally learn Tarot online, and I would greatly appreciate all the help I can get.
