The woman more specifically symbolizes organic force, moral force, and the principle of all force, as apposed to physical. This card symbolizes the confidence of those who find strength and refuge in God. She like The Magician has the symbol of life above her head.

    In some Tarot card decks Justice and Strength are switched.

    Upright: Power, energy, action, courage to overcome fear, generosity of spirit; also complete success and honors.
    Reversed: Repression under fear, abuse of power, weakness, sometimes even disgrace.
