A woman stands within the garden of a large estate surrounded by an abundance of grape vines with a bird perched on her wrist. She appears peaceful, calm, and secure. The estate is vast suggesting plenty of all things. These possessions are possibly hers and testify to her material well-being.

Knight of Swords Tarot Card – Minor Arcana
The Knight of Swords is racing forward with his sword drawn. Everything in this card shows speed. The racehorse he rides (in contrast to the Knight of Pentacles - Plan and Execute having a horse with the stature of a Clydesdale), the jagged clouds in the distance, to the trees blowing in the wind. This knight appears rash and foolhardy however he is skilled and knowledgeable. His quick actions are a result of experience, needing little conscious thought. Can signify death (not always of a person) when in proximity to other cards of fatality.
Upright: A person who has come and gone in your life. A snappy young minded individual who may be unpredictable. You may need to act quickly – please not too quickly. Skill, bravery, hostility.
Reversed: Imprudence, incapacity, extravagance.

Queen of Swords Tarot Card – Minor Arcana
The Queen sits in profile with her feet on the ground and her head above the clouds. Her sword held vertical in one hand, and her left-hand extended suggesting she is familiar with sorrow. She is intelligent, solitary and a symbol of power. The Queen of Swords is patient, clear and quick thinking, well organized, and a bit of a perfectionist. She would do well in business, politics, accounting, editorial, and related professions.
Upright: A time to be alone, reflect on where you have been and your current direction. Do not repeat any difficulties, learn from the past. The Queen of Swords is good judge of character looking beneath the surface. Female sadness, embarrassment, and morning. All this thought is to lead to one thing, action. Action you know you need to take.
Reversed: Perhaps one is being narrow-minded or intolerant. Malice, deceit

King of Swords Tarot Card – Minor Arcana
The King sits in judgment while holding his sword, the sign of his suit. He is experienced and logical and may represent careers of logic and advice – lawyer, engineer, political, medicine, teaching, among others.
Upright: You are considering the pros and cons, good side and bad side, when working towards a solution. The King advices you to think through all available solutions. Authority, militant intelligence, law. You are getting good, honest advice.
Reversed: Someone may be providing bad or dishonest advice. You need a break from thinking, you are mentally exhausted. An evil intention.
